Invitation & sign-in

The Head invites a member by email and role. Entry is a one-time code; a code alone never grants membership.

  1. Invitation & sign-in: The Head invites a member by email and role. Entry is a one-time code; a code alone never grants membership.
  2. Unit home: Every member reads the same unit roster with today's counts. Counts follow patients, not update rows.
  3. Add patient: Any member can add a patient; Prana generates a stable, readable ID such as ORTHO-4 on save.
  4. Post an update: Any number of updates with text, an attachment or a voice note. Media-only reports are allowed.
  5. Correct your own update: Only the original author corrects an update in place; the record keeps its author and submission time.
  6. Operative plan: Any member proposes a plan. One Consultant or Head approval decides it — there is no second level.
  7. Question, reply & reopen: A first reply resolves the thread; any member can reopen it. Head and Consultants ask, Consultants and Residents reply, and posts are never edited.
  8. Discharge & archive: A patient leaves the active roster and stays in the searchable archive with history, media and threads.

One small change

A daily update that stays findable.

Prana moves one reporting ritual out of the group chat. Coordination can stay there; the patient record gets its own place.

01 / Roster

See who is here.

Open the unit's current patient list without searching through messages.

02 / Update

Report at least once today.

Add a dated update for a patient, in a format the whole unit can read. Post again whenever care changes.

03 / History

Find what changed.

Return to a patient's timeline when yesterday's context matters.

Built for one unit, first

A shared view for the people doing the work.

The reporting habit needs to be light enough to keep. The first version stays focused on the roster, at least one update each day, and a patient's history.

Unit Head
See the unit at a glance, without asking for a recap.
Consultant
Find a patient's current state quickly.
Resident Doctor
Add today's update and read an inherited patient's timeline.
Nursing Staff
No extra reporting ritual or typing burden.

Start with the ritual that matters

One patient list. One daily update. A history that stays.

Designed around the first Orthopedics unit at NIMS, with a clear path to other hospital units.
